PLEASE NOTE; NO U-PICK 2020

Dudink’s Garden is a U-Pick and Pre-Picked Berry Farm, on Central Vancouver Island, between Nanaimo and Ladysmith.  Dudink’s Garden also grows seasonal vegetables and high quality nursery plants for sale. Berries include:

1. -strawberries,
   

2. -raspberries,
   

3. -blueberries, 
   

4. -green & red gooseberries,
   

5. -red and black currants.
   

Strawberries are normally ready mid-June, but this can vary, depending on the weather. The rest of the berries are usually ready early to mid-July. Ever-bearing raspberries are available from July until September. Phone ahead to learn when it is best to come. Bring flat boxes for transporting ready-picked berries in your car.

WITH CLIMATE CHANGE, NORMAL PICKING TIMES ARE NO LONGER RELIABLE. In 2014 our berries were about 2 weeks earlier than usual, and in 2015, berries were one month earlier than normal. In 2016, the strawberries started 5 weeks earlier than normal!, 2017 strawberries started June 13. 2018 strawberries started beginning of June.
